THE RSPCA SUFFOLK EAST and IPSWICH BRANCH ANIMAL CLINIC
35A ST. GEORGES STREET, IPSWICH, IP1 3NF

Tel:    01473 231972

Email: suesouthgate@btconnect.com

Sue Southgate is our Clinic Manager

The Clinic is open as follows:-

Tuesday 12.15pm - 1pm
Thursday 5pm - 6pm and
Friday 12 noon - 1pm

The Clinic started off, along with everything else, in Blackhorse Lane Ipswich. In the early 1960's the land in St Georges Street was left to the RSPCA, and a small group of volunteers raised the money for the building which is now the home of this busy Clinic.

The Clinic was set up to help those animals whose owners cannot afford to pay full veterinary fees and costs the Branch around £30,000 -£40,000 a year to run.    We offer heavily subsidised treatment for the animals of people who are in receipt of means tested benefits.

There is a Vet in attendance during opening hours.

As you can imagine the Clinic is a very busy place to work ! There are several dedicated volunteers who willingly give their time and energy to help these animals which might otherwise suffer! Over 2,000 animals of all shapes and sizes, makes and breeds are treated here each year!

If you would like to make a donation PLEASE send it to the address at the top of the page, for the attention of Sue Southgate c/o of the Clinic. However small, your help would be very much appreciated.
