 Our Next Branch Quiz ....Sat 1st Nov 2008

Test your general knowledge at our next popular Quiz Night, which is to be held at St. Michaels Church Hall, The Drift, Martlesham Heath on Sat 1st Nov.     Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.    Tickets are £6 each which will include a Ploughmans supper.   Teams of 4-6 people.    Hot and soft drinks will be on sale, but please bring your own alcohol.   Tickets can be obtained in advance ONLY from Kate on 01449 614057 or mailto:katebranchadmin@talktalk.net?subject=Quiz

Christmas Fair....Sat 8th Nov 2008

RSPCA Suffolk East and Ipswich Branch invites you to join us for our Christmas Fair...come and enjoy Mulled Wine and Mince Pies (along with many other refreshments), visit the different stalls and take part in our raffle and tombola.   This year's Christmas Fair is being held at the Kesgrave Scout Group Hall, Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave.   Doors open at 12 noon through until 4pm.   Free admission.

Just to let you know how the events went and what was raised.... 

     Open Day, Sunday 5th Oct

We didnt have the best of luck with our Open Day plans this year, we had to re-schedule from 7th Sept due to Kennel Cough and the new date, Sunday 5th Oct, was VERY wet!   Due to the terrible weather, we had no choice but to cancel our popular Dog Show, which was a big blow.  However, we soldiered on with a scaled down event which was all undercover.   Thanks to a lot of hardwork and the support of the public who braved the rain and wind we raised £1,785 a very good sum!

Pet Awareness Day, 7th June 2008

Thank you to all the other charities that came along on the day, it rained all day! but we kept on smiling and kept going. A big thank you to Keyna Mullany and her dog training group who all worked very hard on their dog display

Fun Dog Show, Sunday 6th July

56 dogs, their owners and many more joined us for our first stand-alone Fun Dog Show.    It was a lovely day, and we raised just short of £900!   Sincere thanks go to Mo Reid and Becky Fox who organised the event and to Five Rivers Agility Team for their brilliant displays.
