RSPCA Suffolk East & Ipswich Safe Haven Scheme
Welcome to our Safe Haven Scheme which was launched in September 2005
Safe Haven is a vital regular source of income for RSPCA Suffolk East & Ipswich Branch and helps pay for the food, vet bills, and other costs of animals in the care of our Animal Centre at Martlesham, Suffolk.
Looking for a way to support local animal welfare work or an unusual present? At your wits’ end to find a present for the animal lover who has everything on their birthday or for Christmas?
Then consider the Safe Haven sponsorship scheme at our Martlesham Animal Centre. For yourself or on behalf of a friend/relative, you can sponsor a cat pen, dog kennel, rabbit or ferret unit and small animal unit in "Critters' Corner". For a fixed amount per month - £10, £7, £5, £3 or whatever you wish – we will put your/their name, with a short message, on a display by the accommodation. You/they will also receive a certificate, badge and car sticker, and will be mentioned on our “Roll of Honour” in each edition of the Branch’s Newsletter.
The Animal Centre at Martlesham costs over £300,000 per year to run, and Safe Haven sponsors are valuable supporters of the Centre’s work. Their money makes a real difference to the lives of the abandoned, abused and unwanted animals that come to us to find that special forever home where they will be loved for the rest of their lives.
